Making of Eurogap the movie

Here we go with an update from the EuroGap crew in Japan! We´ve been here allready 16 days of wich four in Sapporo @ the Toyota Big Air! You might have heard, Peetu won, Eero was second, Autti third and Markku fifth! So it was a pretty awesome finnish show! The parties were off the hook, as you can imagine since also Peetu flew in straight from Vancouver! Gold party, silver party, party party and raibishgele party! Eero, Heikki and Markku was supposed to be the crew, but Markku got a last minute invitation to the Olympics while he was allready traveling in Japan. So he took a flight to Vancouver and we flew in none other than Fredu to join Eero and Heikki! Markku came back though straight after the ShaunWhiteShow.

But to the actual filming part. We were unbelievable lucky here in Hokkaido, we had perfect snow conditions the first couple days and got really good material! As soon as the snow got kind of bad and everything was tracked, it dumped another half a meter or so and we started all over again! There were a bunch of other crews filming all over Hokkaido, but none really got pow stuff done except for us!!! We hiked everyday about 5 hours in waist deep powder, thank god we stayed at LaVista spa resort! They took so good care of us again this year!! Finnish sauna, hot springs and most of all – free ice cream!! What do you want more? Japan rules! Good bye! Sayounara gozaimasu!!!

One more nightshoot with Markku, Fredu and Pasi. Hit this kinkrail where we usually get kicked by the police, but like every other time this year, no one cared! Finished at 3.30 am. PasiPhoto made himself a comfy little bed in the back of his car since he had to go work again early in the morning. Markku got a shot which is great! We will still hit one more urban thingy friday morning and then leave to Japan friday afternoon! Hectic! Markku, Heikki and Eero! The rest of the crew will maybe head down to Europe or Russia again or Mars?
